Avery Construction Company uses green building practices because the homes we build are more energy efficient, use less water and have less impact on our environment.

We are dedicated to using healthy and environmentally conscious building practices.  Our focus of green building starts with lot development and goes through the home design, construction and the energy efficiency of our homes.  Our goal is to build our clients an efficient home at a good value, while maintaining its comfort.

Some of our green construction practices include:

• Maintain strict erosion and sediment plan
• Choose home plans that utilize space efficiently
• Use framing practices that reduce waste
• Slope the ground around a residence away from the house to divert ground water
• Coat the foundation with water proofing to eliminate water infiltration
